SCA History

Weylyn has walked a path of service, although most often with a sword in his hand. He has served with a joyous smile and contagious energy as officer, retinue, event staff, and marshal. He has learned at the hands of An Tir’s finest artisans and shared those skills and creations with others. He carried the word fame of Terra Pomaria in his time as defender of the barony and continued to carry the word fame of the Summits throughout the Kingdom as Defender of the Summits and the holder of the Shield of Chivalry. Originally known as Weylyn Middleson, Sir Weylyn had begun his service in the SCA by A.S. XLVII (47) 2012 in the Barony of Terra Pomaria. He was knighted as Summits Fall Coronet Tournament Sep 17, 2022 (AS LVII) by Octamasades Skuthikos, Achaxe Ek Auchatae - a grand date, indeed, as it same event he also won the Summits Coronet becoming Tanist heir to Bato and Emma with his inspiration Ban-Tanist(a) Lindis de Aquisgrano, OP.
