I wrote this last edit.  I've heard a word describing the Royal Presence that means you should remove personal weapons - can anyone elaborate on this?  Give examples of whether this is considered proper ettiquite in An Tir?

I cleaned up the question / answer format a bit, and edited for clarity.

Then I did some research and wrote a section on Royal Presence and making Reverance. I believe this page can stand on it's own now so I removed the Cleanup and Morecontent tags - although it could use a link or two to outside sources and perhaps to other wiki-pages (Throne, Royalty, Their Majesties, Their Highnesses, Reverance)

Will continue to update as time allows and will comment appropriately.

Elaborate on removing weapons to speak to Royalty?

"If you wish to speak to the Royalty in question, it considered proper ettiquite to stand on the outside of the royal presence until you are invited closer to converse. In some places it is proper ettiquite at this time to remove any personal weapons."
