The Harp & Hammer is an award with two parts in the Barony of Seagirt for achievment in the Arts & Sciences.
Originally two separate awards known as the Silent Harp and Silent Hammer, they were awarded for (respectively) unheralded achievement in the arts or sciences.
Insignia
The two tokens are either a small pewter harp (without strings) or hammer.
The small size of the tokens meant that the harp was without strings and this led to the notion of the silent adjective. The lore grew that the hammer was without an anvil and so was also silent.
