Thegn Sir Rolf Longbow is an Eleventh Century Saxon who fought for Harold Godwinson and after the war traveled extensively in Europe. Rolf eventually returned to England and married into a Norman household to retain his land. Rolf is a member of the Order of Chivalry, a Lion of An Tir, a Court Baron, and he and Ashley Longbow of Newcastle are the founding Baron and Baroness of Vulcanfeldt. Together Ashley and Rolf have two children, Berengaria and Finn.
