Micheil was born in 1375 at Dunmaglas of a typical Highland family and lived until 1450 (though he is definitely still with us). The family chose to take up trading using the Court of Inverness as base. Micheil's first contact with traders outside the highlands was with Norsemen. trade was then expanded down the coast of the continent and into the Mediterranean Sea to join the Eastern trade Route. The connections increased his knowledge and resources as well as trade. His interests and talents include culinary arts, vinting, jewelry making and merchanting. He has held almost every office in the original shire as well as being the founding Baron. As Baron, his fealty is directly to the crown of An Tir but he also affirms his duty to the people of the barony.
