In addition to the Crown Tournament to choose the Heirs of the Lion Thrones, there will be plenty of Merchants, Arts and Sciences displays, a Friday night Pas des Arms, competitions in rapier, archery, thrown weapons and demonstrations of siege weapons! 20X20 = $30 + gate fee + NMS

30X30 = $ 45 + gate fee + NMS

Camp space reservations

Camp reservations will be taken by Lady Isibel svindanda who will take your reservation by email or phone. She will require the following information:

1. Tent Size (in feet) 2. Preference for a Quiet or Noisy area 3. Is extra space required for a central area? If so, approximately how much space? 4. Contact Person for Group 5. Preference for Quiet or Noisy 6. Additional People in Group (just in case someone else decides to make a reservation for your group) 7. Additional Information - i.e. royal encampment, access for persons with disabilities, etc

While loading, unloading or waiting in line in your vehicle, the event steward team would ask that you turn off the ignition and respect the "no idling" policy. Idling your vehicle contributes to both noise and air pollution, so please while entering, loading, unloading or exiting the campsite, please "muzzle your dragon" and turn off the ignition until you are ready to drive!

This event will take place at the Fish and Game Park in Fort MacLeod, Alberta, a two hour drive south of the Calgary International Airport. (there is no street address).

This site is not handicap friendly and all vehicles will be moved to designated parking as soon as practical after unloading. Alcohol is permitted in period containers and the legal drinking age in Alberta is 18 years old. No smoking except in designated areas and you may smoke in your personal campspace. Pets are welcome but they must be kept leashed, under control at all times and cleaned up after.

The campground is large and well treed. Above ground firepits are permitted and there are several large permanent fire pits on site, with several piles of cut wood for burning that can be used without cost.

The site has two water wells which can provide wash water. It is not potable water, so please bring your own drinking water. The site is also bordered by the Old Man River so please be aware and keep an eye on your pets and children!

Between the eric and merchant areas, there is a well maintained, working Medicine Wheel. Although the Medicine Wheel will be accessable to everyone, the stones are not to be moved or tampered with under any circumstances.

RV hookups are available at the adjacent Daisy May Campground which has full amenities including laundry facilities and hot showers http://www.daisymaycampground.com/

The showers are pay-per use showers, two stalls per gender and cost $1.00 coin for 7 minutes of hot water.

Directions:

Make your best way to the town of Fort MacLeod, Alberta, Canada. At the west edge of town, just past the Fort Museum, look for the Lyndon Road Sign opposite the Shell station. Turn onto the paved road and head down the hill. Go past the Daisy May Campground and look for signs.

The town of Fort Macleod is a two-minute drive away from the event site. It is a thriving community that offers multiple hotels and motels, gas, grocery and liquor stores and many other amenities.
