I was left speechless when I was called forward for this award. Ulsted spoke to the people how I had been his right hand as his scribe, secretary and active member of [[retinue]]. He took the worn glove from his right hand and presented it to me. He then called his [[squire]] forward, and discussed how he had been there as his shield arm and gave him the glove from his left hand. He and I had worked as a team the entire reign. The King's Guantlet is to me the highest honor award I have received and Ulsted's words that day still leave me speechless. | ||
