Laurellen found the SCA in A.S. 23, while attending Montana State University, in Bozeman, MT, which was then the Shire of Silverkeep, in the newly made Principality of Artemisia. She was elevated into the Order of The Laurel in A.S. 26 by Brion and Anna, then King and Queen of Atenveldt and served as the seventh Princess of Artemisia later that year.
