Löwenmähne Herald is a deputy to Black Lion. Its function is to provide field heraldry for the four major Kingdom events - May/September Crown, Twelfth Night and July Coronation. Löwenmähne is also responsible for training new field heralds and managing them on the day of the tournament.
Löwenmähne has a deputy, Town Crier Pursuivant, who is responsible for doing Town Cry.
The current Löwenmähne Herald is Brendan ap Llewellyn.
