Persona History

Julia Sempronia (YOO-lee-ah sem-PROH-nee-ah) was born in 401 AD in the city of Uriconium, in the province of Britannia. She married Marcus Valerius Firmus, a wine importer with large estates in the ager Falernus between Roma and Baiae. After the recall of the Comes Britanniarum and his forces from Britannia, the couple moved to a fortified villa in Campania, not far from Teanum Sidicinum.
