Tailoring
Iuliana has been fortunate enough to grow up in a household where sewing was a normal occurrence. Up until her late teens, she was never really interested, however after her introduction to the society, she has plunged head first into the art and skill of the creation of her own garb (and that of many others). Now she is taking pleasure in learning the more intricate details of garb created based on historical research and methods and at the tutelage of his excellency, Sir Edward Ian Anderson and Contessa Ilaria Veltri degli Ansari.

Millinery
Ana is an ever more skilled assistant to the Millinery genius of her husband Jose as the years go on. She has had experience in the creation of lovely head decoration for herself, her husband and others in their unit as well as the professional creation of some headgear for theatrical productions around the barony.

Music
While not well versed specifically in the musical tastes of her specific time period, Ana is a lover of the classical and modern vocal arts and an active participant in a well known mundane choir whose home is near the Barony of Dragon's Mist. She has not been known to sing at many events but will be trying to make an effort to do so in the future.

Archery
Ana is a big fan of the art of Arching. She has, in the past taught smalls some of her art, but it has been many years since she has participated actively. She hopes to jump back into this sport actively as the seasons go on and loves to see the archery competitions within the society.

Heavy Combat
As Head of House of Iron Ring Ana has reached her goal to be the first woman heavy fighter within her war unit. Her first war, was happily fought at Autumn war, August 2008. She is currently taking a break from the field to birth her second child, but expects to be back in armor shortly.

After they were married, Iuliana spent 3 years following José on several of his military campaign. There she made herself invaluable by keeping the military support train organized, and maintaining the financial books of most of the officers. Once his term of service ended, José sought out a company with which he could continue his military training, and encountered the Iron Ring on one of it's many maneuvers into Italy. Abandoning his concern for his family's growing wealth and power, José took up with the mercenaries, and Iuliana followed. There she stopped being the wife of an officer, and earned the rank through her prowess and intelligence to be promoted to head of her Captain's household.

In 1565, Iuliana was overjoyed to find a new recruit to the company of mercenaries, Nicolai, had brought along his lady, Helena Zancani with him on his endeavors. Iuliana and Helena, having much in common, found themselves quick friends, and became dependent upon each others support and confidence.

In 1567, Iuliana and Jose celebrated the arrival of their daughter, Rosa de Castilla while on campaign through Germany. The baby thrived with the care of her parents and overjoyed godparents, Nicolai and Helena. She was joined by a baby brother three years later.

Persona History

Iuliana was born in 1543 outside of Leon, the daughter of Diego de la Sara, a respected ambler, and Catalina la Roja, a courtier of the Habsburg Court. Iuliana grew up in and out of court society and among the company of many soldiers and officers who knew and respected her father. She was fully educated in reading, writing, arts and science and learned to speak French as well as her native tongue.
In 1559 Iuliana was sent on a court errand to Milan where she met, through a childhood friend under the command of her father, Nicolai Rabenis Von Tachov, his Lady Helena Zancani and their child, Li. They quickly fell in love and were married with the blessing of both families and the royal court.
After they were married, Iuliana and Helena spent 3 years following Nicolai on several of his military campaign. There, they made themselves invaluable by keeping the military support train organized, and maintaining the financial books of most of the officers. Once his term of service ended, Nicolai sought out a company with which he could continue his military training, and encountered the Iron Ring on one of it's many maneuvers into the outer Italian provences. Abandoning his concern for his family's growing wealth and power, Nicolai rose in the ranks, eventually taking over as commander of the fighting company. There Iuliana stopped being the wife of an officer, and earned the rank through her prowess and intelligence to be promoted to head of her Captain's household, it was rumored that occasionally she was seen on the battlefield as well, although this was never confirmed. Not to be outdone, Helena made a respected name for herself, maintaining the company's books, hosting lavish dinners for ally companies and special guests, as well as educating the ever growing horde of company Children.
In 1560, Iuliana, Helena and Nicolai celebrated the arrival of their second child, a daughter, Rosa while on campaign through Germany. The baby thrived with the care of her parents. Upon return to their home Provence, Li and Anya were joined by a baby brother, Rowan, in 1563.
