The Iron Ring is not an incorporated legal entity of any kind.  However, by mutual agreement, the members of the Iron Ring do maintain a communal pool of funds to purchase and maintain equipment which is then owned by the group as a whole.  To donate to the Iron Ring, contact the treasurer (currently [[Cailis MacGregor]]).

In order to become a member of the Iron Ring, an interested party must secure a member as sponsor and two more members to act as advocates. After being recorded by the Master or Mistress of Recruiting (currently [[Daesgasage Runne]]) the new recruit must attend 2 camping events with the Iron Ring and 5 non-camping functions (such as fight practices, workshops, etc.).  Once these prerequisites are met, the members take a vote at the next meeting to decide whether to welcome the recruit as a new member, continue as a recruit (in the case that not enough members feel they know the recruit sufficiently), or end their recruitment and affiliation with the Iron Ring.

The Iron Ring is a household which re-creates the look and feel of a fighting unit with members that existed between 450 and 1600. The Iron ring was founded in 2004, as the brainchild of Lord Heinrich von Arenburg. Command was passed to Nicolai Rabenis Von Tachov in fall 2007.

Fashion

The Iron Ring has maintained an interest in the fashion of the 16th century, often appearing in groups with fine court garb. Our tailors Iuliana de la Sara, Lissette de la Rose and Helena Zancani continue to advance their skill and try new and different projects.
