Distrust is common amongst the overlords of the region. Each is convinced that their neighbors received more rice in their tmeple than they did. Whether through greed or wanting to ensure that their people have enough to make it thorugh the winter, they set guards at their own temple and send their troops to gather the bags of rice from the other two..."

Personal Memories

Its very hard to believe Crimson Sky War has come and gone. I remember all of the anticipation building to the return of this much-loved event. This was my first CSW and even having day-tripped, I still got the essence of enthusiastic environment. The war scenario was one of the best smaller-sized wars I've ever seen. The combatants running through the overgrown filbert orchards so prevelant at Willamette Mission State Park was exciting. My only complaint, and that of the spectators around me, was that there was no way to tell which fighter was on who's team - a suggestion for some kind of ID for future CSWs I made to one of the co-autocrats as constructive feedback afterward. Court was pleasant, not too long, not too short, and just low-key at the baronial level. Of course for me, as always, the best part is to be in companionship of my many good friends who were also in attendance. The greatest highlight for me happened when Founding Baron Cesare had a wardrobe malfunction during his participation in the war; Both succeeding Terra Pomaria Baronesses #2 Dame Elspeth and #3 Marianna ran promptly to his rescue!--Jean-Jacques Lavigne
