A defunct Incipient Shire formed in February AS XXVI/1992 encompassing Linn County, Oregon. It was first organized under the title of Sylvan Vale. Its hosting branch was the Barony of Terra Pomaria to its north. When and why it was disbanded is currently not known. The territory of Linn County, Oregon would later reform as an official SCA branch of the Shire of Nordholt which also was disbanded.
