Her old friend and household leader, Mistress Arlys, sends this:
"Giuliana's done a lot of research regarding period feasts and the presentation thereof -- witness the Triumphs of Oriana, a grand feast in the high Elizabethan style. Her costuming and embellishing are lovely, and she sings and plays recorder. Her storytelling is nothing short of marvelous, in every sense of the word. While she was on vigil for Laurel, she gave herself the task of telling stories to anyone who asked, carrying with her a prop bag. The person who requested a story would pull out a prop, and she would tell a story.
