Evrard de Valogne has been involved in the SCA off and on for 15 years. He has been a proud member of Wyewood for nearly four years. In the shire he has been awarded several honors, including the Wye Knot in AS 42.
His interests include: Archery, Fletching, Heraldry, Armoring, Leatherworking, Brewing, Woodworking, Embroidery, Fighting, Marshalling, Illumination, and Garb making. Evrard serves as an inspiration to the populace of the Shire due to his eagerness to step in and help, and is known for his excellent period portrayal of mid 14th century France.
Evrard has served as an officer of the shire for three years, two as Herald and one as Chief Archer. He is currently the deputy to the Herald and to the Chief Archer.
Evrard is an Armored Combat Marshal, a Senior Target Archery Marshal, a Combat Archery Marshal and a Thrown Weapons Marshal. His passion for archery is equalled by few.
In AS 38 Evrard de Valogne was given an Award of Arms during the reign of Skeggi and Tasia at Ursulmas. In AS 42 he won Midhaven's Archery Championship and will be hosting that event the following year. That same event Evrard was asked to be an Arcarius to HL Arion the Wanderer, OGGS. That September Crown he was awarded the Goutte de Sang by Ard Righ Tiernan and Ban Righ Miranda.
