Dragon Rider, mundanely Jeffrey "Jeff" Bannister, passed away September 7, 2007 at the age of 48 in Terra Pomaria. He was an armorer and a bladesmith, most well known for making a series of daggers that were given to the annual winner of the Defender of Terra Pomaria Tournament at Long and Short of It branch summer event from the 1990s into the mid-2000s when the surplus ran out.
