Cunegonda (Pron. koo-neh-GURGLEon-da, spelt any way you please) was born in the second half of the thirteenth century in the City of Utrecht, Prince-Bishopric of the same, in the Holy Roman Empire. Persona Background

Cunegonda (Pron. koo-neh-GURGLEon-da, spelt any way you please) was born in the second half of the thirteenth century in the City of Utrecht, Prince-Bishopric of the same, in the Holy Roman Empire. The constant construction of the Domkerk was far too loud and troublesome; the marauders from Holland up north were intolerable; the new Bishop-Elect, John I, was such an idiot she couldn't bear to remain a moment later. Neither did she feel like marrying, or becoming cloistered and cut off from the world... and so she flounced south to the begijnhof of Breda in the Principality of Brabant, because seriously, who wouldn't prefer John I of Brabant over John I of Nassau?

Unfortunately for her, shortly after her arrival the begijnhof began building their own church. Not a moments peace.
