The Chorum Leo is an annual bardic prize tournament, traditionally held at September Crown. Started in 2010, by Julian Sinclair and friends on the request of the Glymm Mere bardic champion, Serena Zane, who was tasked with coordinating bardic activities that year.

The tournament is a single or double elimination-style tournament, depending on the size of the list. Participants are paired and asked to perform a short (3-5 minute) piece. The performance can be any performing art and there are no documentation requirements. It can be dance, theater, song, jokes. There are no limits - other than to keep it family friendly.

The observing competitors are then asked to vote by placing tokens in a bowl for each competitor in the current bout. The winner of each bout is determined by simple majority. In the event of a tie, a third-party neutral observer is allowed a vote.

The prize for the tournament is a tiny pie. There are rumors there will one day be a gluten-free tiny pie and then the world will tilt on its axis when all the gluten-free bards compete in earnest.

Past champions As you'll see from the list below, the champions hail from all over the Kingdom and are some of the flower of performing arts in this kingdom.
