Chimene's first event was a demo at Oregon State University in 1975. She then spent a year in the Freehold of the Great River (Las Cruces NM), then returned to Adiantum (Eugene OR), where she has resided ever since at varying activity levels.
For about 15 years she traveled extensively in An Tir and the West, and was very active in Adiantum. See The Elf Hill Times, #6-15, 1979-1984. Chimene and Gerek did An Tir Kingdom Chronicler, publishing the Crier for slightly over 2 years, no. 174-201, July 1986-Sept 1988. (With an Apple 2e and a dot-matrix printer!!)
She is interested in Roman Britain, Norman Britain, Norse everything, costuming, and cookery, among other things.
