Cara [Donata] Da Fortuna, roughly translates to; Beloved Gift of Fortune. The middle name Dea was rejected by the Sable Lion Herald and its replacement [Donata] is to be submitted for approval. This persona is of Italian descent, late period 1530's The names were selected from 2 different databases; Cara [Donata] from http://www.s-gabriel.org/names/arval/catasto/ Da Fortuna from http://www.stg.brown.edu/projects/tratte/doc/SURNAM1.html

Her selection of those names reflects her attempt at the fine art of "canting" both the name and device (her device is in process as the Black Lion Herald has requested clarification of an element) The current version of her device is: (please forgive the heraldry) Argent, on a chevron vert, three bezants, between three flames proper, each issuant a billet vert. Her arms are in process of a redesign to more closely reflect her desire for a more heraldicly friendly version.

Cara Donata is currently the webminister for Stromgard.org, the official website for the Barony of Stromgard. She's an active scribe and her designs can be seen through several Baronies and at the Kingdom level.

Her entry on the An Tir Order of Precedence is here: http://op.antirheralds.org/index.php?with=Start&name=Cara+da+Fortuna
