Avacal November Coronet Tournament XVL/2010

Shire of Bordergate Bonnyville, Alberta

Their Highnesses of Avacal Prince Kirk and Princess Brynja wish to invite the populace of the known world to Their Coronet tournament to determine the new Heirs to the Coronet of Avacal.

Regarding the format for the Coronet Tournament, Their Highnesses of Avacal wish the following: 1. Shields shall conform to tournament sizing ie. heater shield shoulder to shoulder chin to crotch 2. SCA membership and subscription to the Advantgarde for both fighter and consort 3. All consorts shall attend the Princess's morning tea (special permission required for non attendance) 4. A display of heraldry (preferably a banner of some sort that can be displayed during the tournament and event)

In response to the success at September Crown, We are issuing the following additional requirements.

5. Every fighter is to have some documentation on their persona and what armour, weapons and fighting style would be appropriate to them. 6. At least one part of each fighter's kit should be appropriate to their persona.

Merchants are asked to pre-register with the event stewarts, as there is limited space for merchanting at this event.

Directions:

Once in Bonnyville, head east on 50 Ave to 46 st. Head north(left turn) on 46 st and travel to 54 Ave. Once at 54 Ave, turn east (right turn). Travel approximately 200 meters and building is on your right hand side of the road. Signs will be posted.

The feast reserve list will be limited to 200 people, and reservations will be taken up to the 20th of November only, as much preparation will be needed by our feast stewards to prepare for the delicacies to come. When reserving, please also pass along any food allergies that you may have. Any paid reservation gets you put at the top of the feast reserved list.
