SCA History

Started playing in 1982 in Madrone. Got serious about participation Fall 2004. House Madubi from around 1997 to 2005. Joined House Redstone Oct2006. Became Sergeantry Candidate (Yoman) of Aquaterra in January 2008. I expect that I will be ready to pass Sergeantry Trials in Sep2009.

My goal here beyond keeping the organization running, is to learn enough that I can do all the things that a well to do Norseman would do when living on a farm on the North Atlantic in the late 800's.

Ithra & School

Finished Lector Ithra Artis and Lector Ithra Scientae class work in Nov2007. Taught Ithra core class 'Tents and Medieval Encampments' twice in 2007 and once in 2008 with HL Jade Redstone; scheduled to teach it at William Tell in 2008. Currently working on Ithra Special School (Norse), and woodworking.

Took wood carving class at Nordic Heritage Museum in Ballard (in Seattle) in 2007.
