Became [[Sergeant|Sergeantry]] Candidate ([[Yeoman]]) of [[Aquaterra]] in January 2008. I expect that I will be ready to pass [[Sergeant|Sergeantry]] Trials in Sep2009.

My goal here beyond giving back to our Society, is to learn enough that I can do all the things that a well to do Norse nobleman would do when living on an estate in the Orkneys in the early 900's.

Born on a farm outside Trondheim (853 Gregorian). Fostered by Jarl Rognvald Eysteinson of More.

At 21 winters, moved to the Orkneys serving Sigurd Eysteinsson, Jarl of Konungr Harald Hårfagre of Norway. Took up an estate  on the Mainland North of Stromness.

On my estate we raise cattle and sheep. We also farm, and fish in the Atlantic. Good places to trade are in Dublin longphort, Jorvik, Oslo, and Manx. With ties to Norway and Orkney, Scotland and England so close, and Ireland a short voyage away, disputes must be watched for.
