Galeran Chanterel

Galeran started in the SCA lo these many years ago in the Dominion of Myrkfaelinn in what was then the territorial principality of Aethelmearc. From there he traveled to Atlantia, the Midrealm (where he met and married Lady Rhieinwylydd verch Einion Llanaelhaearn), Atlantia again, and finally to An Tir. He now resides in Couer du Val in the Summits. He is an accomplished musician and plays the harp, percussion, and various woodwinds; he also sings. From 2011-2012, he served as Bardic Champion of An Tir. He was elevated to the Order of the Laurel at July Coronation (7/21/12) by Ieuan and Gwyneth. Galeran has tried his hand at armored combat, and while he may flop around like a beached porpoise, he enjoys the experience and is excited to learn more. You may also find him on the dance floor, in the kitchen, or anywhere with bacon.

His arms are per pale argent and azure, three fleurs-de-lys and a dance counterchanged, and his motto is En Service et Chanson (In Service and Song).
